(16)(7) Los Angeles Lakers (2013 Reg. Season: 102ppg, 45rpg, 22apg, 46% FG, 36% 3PT): The Lakers are a proud but wounded franchise. They managed after a horrible start to reach the 7 seed in the playoffs. But they pressed their aging superstar Kobe Bryant to plat 40+ minutes a game and he ended up blowing out his ACL and being finished for the season. With only one game left the Lakers got in without Kobe but can they win without him is the question we must all asked ourselves…
(4)(2) San Antonio Spurs (2013 Reg. Season: 103ppg, 41rpg, 25apg, 48% FG, 38% 3PT): The Spurs franchise is a long way away from catching the Lakers in total number of titles won. But something that they can do is knock the Lakers out of the playoff race and put themselves one step closer to adding another one to the 4 they already have. But to do that they first must beat a very talented Lakers team lead by Dwight Howard…Synopsis: (Spurs won season series 2-1) Spurs 4, Lakers 3: I think the Lakers will give it a good go and even push the Spurs to seven games but I don’t think they can overcome the Spurs in San Antonio.
