One of our contributing experts recently put together a kick-butt article that is the “Do This – and DON’T Do That” rule-book when it comes to getting rid of unsightly cellulite dimples, shadows and ripples. It’s a quick read with some eye-opening tips and a helpful video that you’ll want to see while it’s still up.———————————————————————————————————————-
-contributed by – Joey Atlas, Womens’ Body Enhancement Specialist — M.S., Exercise Physiology Reducing Cellulite Through Yoga" "Ask any woman on the street what the definition of "cellulite" is and you'll get a confused variety of answers. From “toxic fat pockets caught in the skin” to “bands of fiber pulling down on the skin” and many odd things in between…"

Cellulite Gone – Bikini On
The truth is: most people really don’t know what “cellulite” actually is, or, what causes this odd appearance of the lower body trouble zones…"
This is no surprise as there actually is no such thing as ‘cellulite’… So how do we get rid of something which doesn’t exist?"
Here’s the answer:
"The word, “cellulite”, was cleverly made-up several decades ago, in a European beauty-spa, Reducing Cellulite Through Yoga to DESCRIBE the bumpy, shadowy and dimpled appearance of skin in the lower body trouble zones of the female body. (butt, hips, thighs, legs)"
The beauty spas then started cashing-in and profiting big-time by marketing "beauty" services and products to get rid of "cellulite". And if you're like most women who've been challenged by this issue, then you probably already know all of those passive and superficial beauty treatments do not get rid of the dented shadows and mushy dimples on your buns, legs and thighs."
Reducing Cellulite Through Yoga FactIn order to make your lower-body smooth, tight and attractive, there are 5 steps to follow. Reducing Cellulite Through YogaHere they are:
5 Critical Keys to KILL Your Cellulite1: You cannot get rid of the dimples and shadows (cellulite) by rubbing an odd gel, weird lotion or goopy cream on your trouble zones and problem spots.
So, stop using them – as some can actually make your cellulite worse.
Despite the fact that there are dozens of supposed ‘cellulite reduction creams’ on the market, there is no possible way for any one of them, no matter how expensive, to get rid of your cellulite. Cellulite is not a skin problem. Its an underlying structural issue, that can only be corrected by reversing the cause of atrophied muscle fibers directly beneath your “cellulite” trouble spots."
Since the squishy dimples and shadows are a superficial symptom of a problem below the surface; it’s impossible for the creams, lotions or gels to have any physiological impact on the cause of the issue…"
2: Risky and expensive ‘medi-spa treatments’ can only reduce your bank account – not your cellulite problems. And there are many consumer reports about women being seriously scarred or injured as well.
Stay away from these as the FDA reports show women who’ve been scarred or injured for life.
Painful, dangerous and uncomfortable services ranging from endermologie to body-wrapping have been proven to be totally ineffective when it comes to treating cellulite. However, advertising and marketing loopholes allow these services to be cleverly marketed to desperate women who are at wits end with the unattractive dimples and shadows on the lower-body problem areas." Reducing Cellulite Through Yoga
3: The unattractive dimples, shadows and saggy ripples known as cellulite are not ‘genetic’ and you are NOT stuck with them forever if you have them.
Falsely believing this will prevent you from getting rid of your cellulite. So, don’t entertain this nonsense for 1 second.
These two ridiculous myths are often passed around by ‘neighborhood know-it-alls’ – and many women actually believe these 2 myths – especially if they haven’t found the right way to get rid of the cellulite. Whats even more alarming are the number of doctors who also believe in and foster these 2 demoralizing falsehoods.
Yes – it is common to see a mother and daughter, both with the lower-body "orange peel" look, BUT this doesn't mean cellulite is genetic – it simply means both women have not found a way to lift, tone and firm the muscle layers under the dimpled, saggy skin."
4: You can get rid of cellulite, regardless of your age – or when you began to notice it."
Since cellulite is a structural issue (muscle) – it can be fixed with simple and unique body movements which target the cellulite areas."
These types of moves can be followed by any woman, regardless of her age or fitness level. And it doesn’t matter if the cellulite started in the early teen years – or after pregnancy – or after menopause – it’s still a structural issue that results from soft, un-toned muscles underneath the saggy, dimpled, shadowy skin." Reducing Cellulite Through Yoga
5: The only proven way to permanently get rid of the dimples and shadows of cellulite is through a series of simple, yet specifically targeted lower-body movements"
These unique movements focus on lifting, shaping and toning the muscle layers so they gently push outward against the skin – to bring back the smooth, tight and sexy appearance, while burning off any excess flab, if there is any."
This is how regular women reverse the cause of cellulite dimples and shadows… AND, if there happens to be any excess fat in those zones – it will be burned off as fuel by the muscles. This bonus of losing any unhealthy excess body-fat is nice because it reveals a great body and it works wonders for your health profile."
BUT you won’t learn about these unique slow-tempo movements in the gym or your local health club."
These body movements are NOT done with typical weights and machine type exercises." "Most regular fitness instructors don’t even know about this type of targeted cellulite-killing method. (click to watch video)"
These muscle-stimulating movements can be done right at home, in total privacy."
– The female lower-body has over 90 muscles…"
Picture those 90 muscles BENEATH your skin’s surface in your legs, butt, hips and thigh zones. That’s where the magic happens in regards to true removal of mushy dimples and saggy shadows in the trouble spots and problem areas…
Despite what most women have been led to believe, there is a critical difference between a ‘general workout program’ – and a laser-focused, cellulite removal method. The sweetest benefit of this is; you don’t need access to a health club or fitness center." …"Just click PLAY on this video by Joey Atlas, (M.S., Ex.Phys.) and get it started now:" (it opens in a bigger screen so you don’t miss a thing)
Reducing Cellulite Through Yoga TestimonialsThese are simple, unique moves you can start doing today, right in the privacy of your own home. And if you start this type of targeted muscle stimulation method today – you will start feeling results within 2 weeks and seeing results within 3 to 4 weeks."

To see the 90 muscles in your lower-body and how you can reverse the cause of the bumps, shadows and dimples in your trouble zones and problem spots, just click play above.
EXTRA TIP – # 6: The Dimples, Ripples and Shadows of Cellulite Get Worse if They Are Not Taken Care of Properly. And the worse it gets, the harder it is to reverse.
So, watch the video above to avoid further frustration, disgust and anger. It’s your body so just do the right thing for it. Reducing Cellulite Through Yoga"

The average selling price of full-size pickups has grown at more than twice the rate of the overall industry — cars and trucks combined — since 2005. The average truck sells for more than $40,000, nearly $9,000 more than the average vehicle, according to automotive research firmEdmunds.com. Automakers in recent years have added more luxury items to pickup trucks — and cars, too — so it's difficult to pinpoint how much an uncompetitive market can be attributed to price.
But Jesse Toprak, an analyst for vehicle pricing website TrueCar.com, said in a telephone interview that weak competition in the truck segment results in a "couple-thousand-dollar premium" paid by consumers.
The Chicken Tax, like any other protection tariff, has both bad and good effects. Bad EffectsLess consumer choice-- We can't have the globally built small/midsized pickups that are sold overseas because with a 25% tariff no one would buy them. Higher prices--local production is done in part by UAW labor, which is more expensive than overseas labor. Foreign retaliationGood EffectsLocal production means more jobs, and more business in U.S (and NAFTA region). If you add up direct and indirect jobs, thousands of Americans (and Mexicans and Canadians) are employed because of local truck production. Some are unionized but many are not. Higher quality pickup trucks. Due to the high cost of entry, only large established players like Toyota and Nissan have the means to set up a local plant to build trucks--so they have to bring high quality, high margin products. Cheap junk won't fly. Marginal brands like Mahindra or Great Wall have a hard time making a business case for low cost products, due to the high barriers of local labor costs and the regulatory environment. Judging by the sales numbers (number one selling vehicle is F150, followed by Chevrolet Silverado) the higher prices do not seem to hurt pickup truck sales. Trucks have become a luxury good, as much as a work tool, and people are willing to pay $40,000 for a loaded pickup truck. The Chicken Tax--Bad and Good Images

She was last seen at a cousin's house near West 106th Street and Lorain Avenue in Cleveland. Her disappearance did not receive much publicity. Knight's grandmother, Deborah Knight, said in an interview that, based on the recommendation of police and social workers, family members had concluded that Michelle likely left on her own because she was angry that her son was removed from her custody. A short police report on disappearance said Michelle had a mental condition and frequently was confused by her surroundings. Knight's name was removed from an FBI database on missing persons by Cleveland police 15 months after her disappearance. Michelle's mother, Barbara Knight, who now lives in Florida, said she and Michelle were close, and she never believed her daughter would disappear without a trace. Barbara Knight put up fliers throughout her West Side neighborhood while living in Cleveland, and said she continued to search on her own after moving to Florida.

She called her sister and told her she had a ride. At first police considered Amanda a runaway. But then the FBI began to investigate the case as a kidnapping. In November 2003, police said someone used Amanda’s cell phone a week after she disappeared to contact Miller and claim her daughter would be fine and would return in a few days. Berry's disappearance received extensive media coverage because of the tenacious efforts of her mother, Louwana Miller. Miller frequently went to local media, held vigils, and appeared on TV shows such as "America's Most Wanted" to keep her daughter's name in the news. Miller was disheartened in 2004 when she was told by a psychic on a TV showthat her daughter was dead. Miller died in 2006.

That imageThere has been a lot of news coverage in the last day or two of the discovery of a blue exoplanet - a planet orbiting another star. It is quite a feat to detect colour at this distance, but I feel that the news coverage is tainted by a combination of misapprehension and downright naughtiness. To begin with, why should we care that the planet is blue (and hence splash it across the media)? After all, it has to be some colour. So what if it's blue? The only reason I can think for getting excited is that traditionally this colour has been associated with life. We know that Earth is primarily blue when seen from space because of its oceans and so link this with a friendly environment. What this misses is that Earth isn't the only planet in the solar system that is blue. Both Uranus and Neptune are blue too. This blue coloration is not because these gas giants distant from the Sun are ideal for life. Quite the reverse. It is because that's the right sort of colour for a methane atmosphere. So we shouldn't get too excited, given two out of the three blue planets we know well aren't anywhere near inhabitable. In fact, to give the news media their due, they have all reported that HD 189733b, located around 63 light years away, is probably blue because of liquid or fragmentary silica in the atmosphere. And most have pointed out that it is a gas giant. But given that, it's not quite clear why they have got so excited about it. There is something worse, though.Pretty well every bit of coverage I've seen has carried this stunning image from NASA/ESA. And why wouldn't they? It puts some of the pictures of planets in our own system to shame, let alone a planet 63 light years away. Of course, the reason it is so good is that it is an artist's impression. It's not a photograph. The colour detection has been through changes in the colour spectrum when the planet passes behind its star, not through direct observation, and certainly not through stunning photographs. And yet almost all the coverage I've seen has not mentioned that this picture is a fake.Take, for instance, the write-up in the usually excellent i newspaper. They have given it a quarter page. Of that, maybe two thirds is the picture and the rest is a small text box. The closest it comes to saying the image isn't genuine is saying the planet is 'a deep cobalt blue, data gathered by the Hubble space telescope shows.' I'm sorry, I can guarantee you that a fair percentage of even the excellently educated readers of the i will come away convinced that they have seen a picture of this planet. It wouldn't be hard to put in an 'artist's impression' caption. If you think I am being over concerned, it is because I think this demonstrates a widespread attitude in the media that you can loose and free with science reporting. Just imagine this was a story about a celebrity committing an offence and the paper mocked up a 'photograph' of it happening without labelling it as an artist's impression. It would cause on uproar. Just because this is science doesn't mean that such deception is acceptable.Got the exoplanetary blues Images

In the seventy-seven year history of the Heisman Trophy, it’s happened one time. Archie Griffin, a former running back from Ohio State is the only repeat winner of the most coveted individual award in collegiate football (‘74-‘75). In recent years, there’s been more talk of possible Heisman repeat winners with Tim Tebow, Sam Bradford and Mark Ingram hoisting the trophy as sophomores. Yet, none of them were able to repeat Griffin’s feat. Can Johnny Manziel, Heisman’s first freshman winner, raise the trophy for a second time?At first glance, one might say “Yes! Without a doubt!” Manziel broke the SEC record in 2012 for total offense with 5,116 yards…as a redshirt freshman. As the season progressed, Johnny Football’s prowess on the field grew with each game. He seemed to find pressure situations as a prime opportunity to demonstrate his ability to evade would-be tacklers and scamper for the end zone. In what has been considered his “Heisman Moment” he seemingly made something out of nothing as he fumbled the ball, recovered it himself and subsequently threw a touchdown.Yet, as with the previous sophomore Heisman winners, the opportunity for repeat becomes an even more daunting goal than escaping a four-man rush. Preseason picks for the 2012 didn’t have Johnny Manziel’s name anywhere in the Top 25. Just as in the year before when Robert Griffin, III, emerged as unforeseen winner, Cam Newton in 2010 and Mark Ingram in 2009.Does the pressure of being a pre-season Heisman choice affect the player’s ability on the field? Possibly. Opposing defenses study the schemes, breakdown film and hope to be more prepared the second time they face them (Nick Saban anyone?) You can bet first time coaches in the SEC like Arkansas’ Bret Bielema and Gus Malzahn’s Auburn squad will be aiming to prove their worth by doing what very few others could: contain Manziel. What also must be taken into consideration is the loss of A&M’s offensive tackle Luke Joeckel to the NFL and former offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury’s move to the head coaching position at Texas Tech.Outside pressures also can factor into their ability to focus all their attention on the football field. The target on their backs grows infinitely larger as their name is mentioned more in the media. For Johnny Manziel, this seems to be the case more than ever with past Heisman winners. In the months since his winning the trophy, Manziel has allowed his Twitter feed to become fodder for those questioning his maturity and ability to handle his newfound fame. He doesn’t attend classes with the other students at Texas A&M, choosing rather to take them online. Manziel’s been on the sidelines of NBA games, surrounded by mounds of money at gambling establishments and most recently publically ridiculed College Station over an apparent parking violation.Of the last five winners of the Heisman Trophy, outside of Manziel, Tim Tebow probably was the most publically revered and scrutinized. Yet, his intense focus on the sport did not wane. But even with his innate ability to motivate his teammates, with his famous “I promise” speech after the Ole Miss loss in 2008, Tebow could never get any closer in winning another Heisman than his third place finish behind Colt McCoy and winner Sam Bradford in 2008.In order for Manziel to repeat as a Heisman winner his athletic skills are going to have to be as least as proficient as they were in 2012, if not more so. But also his ability to handle the pressure from not only within the confines of the football stadium, but also those outside in the “real world” will have to be more proficient as well. September 14, 2013 at College Station will be the first real test for the former when the Aggies face two-time defending BCS Champions, the University of Alabama. The recent few weeks for Manziel don’t speak well for the latter. Can Johnny Manziel repeat as a Heisman Winner? Who would’ve thought he would’ve won it as a freshman? Anything is possible, but in reality, seeing Manziel raise the trophy again in 2013 is not very probable. - Amy Norris@amyjane72amy.projectcfb@gmail.comCan Johnny Manziel Win the Heisman Trophy for a Second Time? Four Out Of Five... Isn't EnoughFour points to keep Laker Fan off the ledge...1) You get to keep Pau Gasol now. Perhaps this doesn't seem like a very good thing, given how bad Gasol looked last year, and that he's going to make over $19 million next year... but keep in mind that Pau is 32 and wants another paycheck. Pair him with a somehow healthy Steve Nash, and you've got much of what you were signing up for in 2012-13.2) Your roster and franchise is going to spend the entire off-season fueled by hate, which is to say, the only emotion that Kobe Bryant still recognizes. Don't expect this team to sleep through preseason and the first half of next year, like they did last year. They've got stuff to prove, especially now that everyone knows they are the second-best team in town. Given how old the roster is, they need something like this. A lot.3) Free agent season isn't over, folks. Sign Josh Smith tomorrow, and you are a better team than you had with Howard, especially in the Stretch 4 Era of NBA matchups. Ink David West to team with Gasol, and you've got two wildly crafty low-post threats. Nikola Pekovic is a good chunk of what Howard is. Hell, maybe you can somehow convince Andrew Bynum to care again, or get Greg Oden's knee to regenerate. The market has not taken all of the big men off the board.4) Nash and Bryant and Laker Mystique should still be able to get *someone* to take their money. Just because the bright lights of Hollywood were too much for Howard doesn't mean that no one else is going to come to town... and as a lifelong Laker Hater, I'm also kind of convinced that the NBA isn't going to allow this team to well and truly fail. And now, three points to put them back on. 1) Big men are still on the market for a reason. As the Heat have shown in back to back championships, it's not a big man dominant game any more. What the market has raced for is shooters, with previously unheralded and/or uninspiring guys like JJ Redick, Kyle Korver, Kevin Martin and Chase Budinger making bank. The Lake Show still has Jodie Meeks, Steve Blake and Metta World Peace to hoist from the arc, but those guys just don't make enough of them to be positive players...2) This was a *bad* defensive team with Howard. It could be a historically awful one without him. Nash wasn't good at defense in his prime; now, he might be the worst in the league there. Bryant tries, but at his age and offensive usage rate, you aren't getting more than a top-10 player. Gasol was never a shot blocker or ace, and at 32 with the desire to put up numbers for another contract, he's not going to become one. World Peace has the rep but not the lateral quicks, and the bench is just awful in this regard. They need Smith something terrible, but one player does not a defense make.Oh, and your coach is Mike D'Antoni, and his next idea about defense might be his first. And speaking of Seven Seconds To Heave...3) The organization is broken. Regardless of whether or not you think Mike Brown got shafted, you can't defend starting the year with a guy -- any guy -- who you think so little about as to fire that early into the season. The Howard trade has to be seen now as a full-blown tire fire. The bench signings have been bad for a long time, and they haven't drafted an impact player in forever. If Bryant had a normal aging curve instead of a borderline superhuman one, this franchise would have been dust years ago.So, to sum up... all is not lost because you lost out on Howard. You could still get Smith, and to a lesser extent West, and make the playoffs next year. But in terms of winning championships? All has been lost for a while now.http://fivetooltool.blogspot.com - The Sports Blog That Loves You Back! The Lakers Without Dwight Howard Images
